BASS Nation Eastern Regional
North Carolina was first with 298 lbs 8 oz, Georgia was third with 289 lbs 9 oz, and South Carolina was third with 288 lbs 15 oz. in the BASS Nation Eastern Regional that was held on Lake Douglas in Dandridge, Tennessee. Boaters were Gregg Fogner, Bryan Gunter, Hayes Hudson, Chris Jones, Brent Long, Kim Neal, Alan Richardson, River Squires, Jason Turner and Steve Wicker. Non-boaters were Randy Crowley, Johnny Duarte, Timothy Garrison, Brian Hughes, Jarrett Hughes, Doug Miller, Ed Owens, Dennis Robare, David Roddy and Steven Walker. Brent Long was the top boater and Ed Owens was the top Non-Boater for South Carolina and will be heading to the BASS Nation Championship to be held on Lake Conroe near Houston, Texas this fall. South Carolina had eight guys fishing on day 3 and cutting a check. Boaters were Brent Long, Chris Jones, Hayes Hudson, Kim Neal and Bryan Gunter. Due to a scheduling conflict with the Green Pond Ramp, we will be using Portman Marina for the Six Man.

John Proctor Fishing The Bassmaster Classic
John Proctor of the Conway Bassmasters competed in the Bassmaster Classic. Congratulations to John for this remarkable accomplishment. The South Carolina Bass Federation is very proud of John and getting there through our organization. If you are not part of S.C. Bass Federation you are missing out on an opportunity like John now has. We would love to have you join our organization, just reach out to us. John came in 1st in the Southern Division and 6th overall in the BASS Nation National Championship. The 2016 GEICO Bassmaster Classic was held on Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, Tulsa, Oklahoma March 4-6.
