The South Carolina Federation Trail has been modified and schedule changes have been posted in the tournament results tab. A few more changes that were made to try and enhance the trail were as follows. The point system has been updated so that the people not catching a fish will receive 50 points lower than the last person who did catch a fish. This means if the last person to catch a fish received 225 points the rest of competing fishermen will receive 175 points. This should keep the points closer through out the year. Second, the last tournament of the year will become a double points event. That means everyone will receive double points, a win will now be worth 500 points. We hope this will make the last tournament more interesting for everyone. Next is we will be going back to five tournaments with one drop. It would not be a good idea to drop the last tournament since it is double points. The last thing is the way we pair partners. In the past few years no one was allow to fish alone. This year there may be circumstances where there may be boaters fishing alone. If we have an excess of boaters at a tournament, the boaters registering alone will automatically be paired with non-boaters. The boaters registering with non-boaters may have the option to fish alone. This means no one will know ahead of time if they will be fishing alone. We will take the boaters willing to fish alone that registered with a non-boater and draw out the number of excess boaters at random. If you have any questions contact me or Jackie.
